Description

A new piece containing my new character Inspector Fuchs and Kellic J Tiger as the victim. I'd like to thank him and everyone else who helped correct me and make this artwork.

Oh right I also put together a story teaser as well.

03:27 - Washburn Square, Minneapolis.

By the time the streetcar could get me from my home above Juul's Tavern on 33rd and Hennepin, the parameter was held by several canine officers and one liger. Inspector Wayatcha and Félix where already set up and had most of the clues staked out.it was the body they wanted me to see for myself before the sent it off to the morgue.

The victim was a strange chap. Roughly 180 centimeters, 70 to 80 kilograms, but that was normal. What wasn't was him being a white tiger, in a samurai garb, and carrying a katana. His paw still grasping at it, showing a fight he was too slow at judging form the 3 bullets in his chest.

"probably some local thug," Wayatcha says, giving a long yawn on her raccoon muzzle.

"what's wrong Nancy?" I ask her Kneeling down "3 am too early for you, I thought you coons were nocturnals?"

"No, the damn coffee shops close too darn early... and it too early in my shift to get an Irish one, unlike you." she said sniffing the faint smell of whiskey on my breath.

"Hey now, I was off duty until 20 minutes ago, when you called me at home."

"I called you at Juul's"

“It’s downstairs, that's close enough... now if you excuse me, I have a body and murder to examine..." I said, giving a bit of a flick of my tail and started examining the body.

"I'm sure it was some local thugs, simple botch mugging" Félix said standing above me and the body.

"it was a mugging," I murmured,

"what was that Fred?" Félix asked.

"I said it wasn't a mugging. Gabriel." I paused before continuing on "If this was a mugging then the robbers would have came up from behind, then confronted our samurai friend here. But if we look at what paw prints we can you'll see that the victims paw prints are always the first always. If there was a struggle you'd think that we'd see both the victim and the assailants on top one time and beneath another. Also there's no real sign of struggle, nor a fight. Also if it were a mugging then why did our assailant level our dead friend with his katana?"

Félix just stood there his feline ears flatten and his tail twitching. I then continued to examine the body, finally starting to do the worst part, smelling... Almost instantly I smelt that sinister smell. Garlic cloves, cinnamon, Frontenac wine and kerosene.

"its Zenith." I said with a growl, "It was Zenith for sure."
